The Cost and Benefits of Exploring the Cosmos

Our solar system consists of the eight planets that orbit our Sun, as well all other celestial objects orbiting the Sun such as comets, moons and other minor planets. The solar system extends from the Sun to the Oort cloud. Astronomers have yet to discover signs of life anywhere else in our Universe.  

The Universe

The universe has been a source of mystery for us since the first time man ever looked up at the night sky. With improved technology, astronomers have been able to answer many of the questions plaguing the minds of humanities' greatest thinkers. However, many discoveries have yet to be made - many mysteries yet to be solved.

Our Solar System

Space exploration has benefited humans in numerous ways and while it is very expensive to explore space, many scientists and companies are in the process of finding cheaper methods of travelling to space.

With the development of technology during the Renaissance, humans began looking for more scientific answers to their questions. When answers could not be provided theories based only  on logic had to be made
